In the USA, it seems that "How's it going?" is actually a question, not a greeting! Weird, eh?
So a conversation, totally normal in Ireland, like...
A: How's it going?
B: How's it going?
...seems a little abrupt here.
Oh well, they'll get used to me.
In other news, "Any craic?" needs to be explained. Repeatedly.
Of course, this could all be just me.
